The Inn at Juniper Ridge is perched on a ridge in Grant County Oregon, a place of beauty and adventure in Eastern Oregon. The closest town is Mt Vernon, 8 miles west of John Day, Oregon. Our bed and breakfast is east of Bend, South of Pendleton, North of Frenchglen and West of Boise. This makes The Inn at Juniper Ridge convenient lodging for horsebackriding, birdwatching, snowmobiling, hiking, fishing, hunting and all kinds of outdooor exploration. Norbert, a native of Mt Vernon, will help you plan your excursions. Make our Northwestern style B and B your base from which to tour such attractions as:
Enjoy these sights in the absence of crowds and traffic. Then drive off Hwy 395, one and a half miles on our private driveway. The Cowboy Suite, the only room we rent, awaits with a view of the Strawberry Mountains and Mary's Reservoir. Due to a lack of light pollution, our night sky is a stargazer's delight. |

| "We thoroughly enjoyed our two-day stay at Juniper Ridge. The location is in a pristine setting of fragrant juniper, overlooking the Strawberry Mountains. From our cabin we could view elk and deer grazing on the yonder hill. At night we could enjoy the night sky without the hindrance of city and porch lights. As far as we are concerned, this is a "you must stay here" place in order to experience the beauty and personality of eastern Oregon. We can't say enough great things about our hosts, Norbert & Mary. We truly felt like family during our visit. Norbert and Mary shared their knowledge of the area, which allowed us to make good decisions as to what to do and see during the day. The Cowboy Suite has a great western feel with a small kitchenette. The side door of the cabin leads to a lovely sitting area outside for looking out over the hills. If you have any intention of visiting eastern Oregon, the Inn at Juniper Ridge should be your first choice of places to stay!" "The food and your hospitality was fantastic, but I still can't get over Juniper Ridge. I have always had a vision of my dream place to get away from "it all" and after all these years I have found it. The location is great, the views are spectacular and the facilities are first class. We will be back real soon." |
