Norbert and Mary Smith are your hosts.

They are newly retired: Mary from teaching and Norbert from Contracting. They have 2 adult sons who helped with the construction of the inn. Nikki, Justin’s wife is a new member of the family, who also enjoys the outdoors and is seen on some of these pages. The Smith family was active in the llama community for many years in The Willamette Valley. Four geldings were fortunate enough to relocate to the Strawberry Mountains where they seem more content than those Mary and Norbert saw in the Andes. Norbert grew up in Mt. Vernon and after 40 years in the beautiful Willamette Valley he chose to retire with Mary to the tranquility of Grant County. He is a hunter and fisherman. He has much information to share about this unique area.
